INTERPRETATION AND TRANSLATION

Abstract: 
In the article we consider interpretation as a property of a human being, of the process of cogni-tion and communication. We emphasize that interpretation depends on social differences of communi-cation partners, their experience. Interpretation exists as a unity a)of a skill to understand the social and cultural situation of communication, b)an ability to understand the sense of the text as a result of analysis of meanings of language units, components of meanings of words, of combinations and contextual positions of language signs, 3)of a skill to understand sense that is being created on the basis of knowledge of culture.
